Why was this Website created?
This website was created as a unique meeting place online for all Guyanese to unite. Most of the website are integrated with all it's existing features. It's very different from any other existing Guyana website.

We've noticed that almost all Guyana websites especially all web portals are created by Guyanese living overseas. The effort by most of them is great. Many of the websites today are not active after a few months of creation. A few of them today has a poor way to maintain itself in today's age of technology. We needed a website created and maintained in Guyana, which is where it should be done, in it's own country.

We've made GuyanaPalace.com the way a Guyana website should be. The resources of this website are all free. It's non-profit and is dedicated to beautiful Guyana and it's people.

I currently reside in Guyana and always have. This site I have created for you my fellow Guyanese whether you are in Guyana or other parts of the world. I will look forward to your support and hope you appreciate what I'm trying to do. The idea of GuyanaPalace.com was thought of nearly over 5 years ago which would be in late 2002 and on October 16, 2004 (1:25HRS Guyana Time) the Palace was officially launched.

GuyanaPalace.com Staff is made up of various Administrators and Moderators who are working at their best to keep this site up and running. As the days goes by the Palace will get larger, Currently the hit of GuyanaPalace.com is nearly over 8 million hits per month. The Staff are working hard to make the Palace a very Professional place to be and make you feel at home.

We are working to try and keep our variety of services as dynamic and interactive as possible to maintain the Palace's continuing effort to make things better and a lot easier for our users and guests. I recommend all of our guests or visitors to sign up with us via our Forums.

My name is Shaz, I thought of creating this site when I was 16 years old, launched it at the age of 19. I'm now 22 years old, I love my country Guyana and the people of Guyana, I'm in Guyana and will be here forever. As long as I'm alive I will do my best to see what I can give to my people and country. I must say walking on Guyana soil and as a Guyanese is an honour.
