Q: Registering
Where do I register?
A: To register with GuyanaPalace.com, please follow the link: http://www.guyanapalace.com/register -- read/agree to our TERMS OF USAGE, enter the verification code, then fill out the necessary fields; username, email address etc. You will then be taken back to a login screen, where you will enter the username and password that you provided at registration.
Q: Registration problems
I am having problems registering, what should I do?
A: If you are experiencing problems during registration, please contact the administrators by using our "Contact" info or send an email to the admin with details of your problem. We cannot assess your problem(s) from an email that states: "need help registering"; we need as much details as possible. So the more details you include the better a solution you will receive to your problem(s). Also, if possible, you can include a screenshot of the error page for further assessment.
Q: Login problems
I am not able to log in, what should I do?
A: If you are experiencing problems while trying to log in, please contact an admin using our "Contact" info or send an email to the admin with details of your log in problems; the more details you provide, the better a solution you will receive to your problem(s). Please also include in your email the username you registered with at GuyanaPalace.com or the email address that is registered with us. A screenshot of the error page will also be helpful.
Q: Login problems
I am having problems logging in to the chat room, what should I do?
A: If you are unable to log in to the chat room, please contact the admins using our "Contact" info. Alternatively, you can send an email to an admin stating your problem(s) in details or email a screenshot of your chat window to the admin; the latter being better.
Q: Banned
Why am I banned from the chat room?
A: You are usually banned for good reasons, but there are some users whose IP are caught under subnets that have been previously banned for various reasons. If you feel you are one of these cases, please email an admin with your IP address (whatismyip dot com) and screen name that you use to log in to the chat room. An admin will look into your problem, and you will have a response as soon as possible. Contact email address: banned@guyanapalace.com / support@guyanapalace.com
Q: SMS problems
I am not able to send text messages, what should I do?
A: You MUST be logged in before you can send text messages, so please ensure you are signed in before you attempt to send your SMS text messages. You can sign in at the following: http://www.guyanapalace.com/forums/logon.asp. After you are done signing in, you can proceed to the SMS page (http://www.guyanapalace.com/sms) to send your text messages. If you are still experiencing problems, please contact an admin using our "Contact" info or send an email to an admin stating your problem(s) in details; the more details, the better a solution you will receive to your problem.
Q: Adding/Editing Albums
How do I add or edit photos in my albums?
A: To add or edit photos in your albums, please ensure you are logged in first, then follow our "Albums" link on the website to be taken to your "control panel". You will then be given an option/action to 'Create and edit your photo albums', which can be found at the top, right-hand corner of your albums control panel. Select an album name and description. For the next step, you will be taken to the album just created; to further edit/add photos to the album, simply click on 'edit' or 'upload' to edit/delete or upload your photos.
Q: Adding image to forums
How do I add images to my posts?
A: You will need to upload the images from your hard drive unto a specified location on the internet. Go to Photobucket dot com or any other image hosting site, and sign up for an account. Login and upload the images from your hard drive. You will receive a URL (website address) to the image after you're done uploading it; put that link in the place of "http://www.guyanapalace.com/image.jpg" in the following "tag": [img=http://www.guyanapalace.com/image.jpg]. Or if you already have the link to the image, simply replace the "http://www.guyanapalace.com/image.jpg" in the "tag" with the URL of the image.
Q: Uploading photos
How do I upload photos to the Gallery?
A: You will firstly need to register an account with the gallery. After you are done registering, you can log in with your new username and password. You will be taken back to the various categories in the gallery; ladies, guys, graphics, Guyana images etc. Select the one you will like your photo(s) to be displayed in. There will then be an upload option at the top, right-hand corner for you to submit your photos. Fill out the necessary fields, then upload.
